Brown Water Veterans is being built to help families organize and share stories responsibly. Public storytelling should never require exposing private identity, medical, or claim details.
Current privacy guidance
Do not send Social Security numbers, VA file numbers, full medical records, claim packets, private addresses, or financial details through public comments or forms.
Future story submissions will need clear consent before any veteran or family story is turned into a public page, video, petition, or social-media post.
Email updates are handled through a private Brevo integration. The signup form is for general project updates, not sensitive records or emergency requests.
